BASIC PURPOSE Responsible for the design, development and maintenance of enterprisewide reporting and analytics using Tableau.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Visualize and develop BI solutions (Dashboards, Scorecards, Analytic reports, MIS reports) that show top management clear opportunities for revenue growth based on sales, customer, and industry data.Visualize and develop BI solutions that help operational teams maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction in daytoday operations.Design and deliver enduser training and training materials for top management as well as operational teams; provide technical support as necessary.Support the Business Intelligence/Analytics data analyst with the understanding of business and data requirements, and iteratively designs visualizations for initial concepts and prototypes that can be presented to customers for feedback.Develop Tableau based ad hoc user Interface for end users.Perform detailed data analysis (i.e. determine the structure, content, and quality of the data through examination of source systems and data samples).Responsible for data preparation, data blending, the creation of data models /sets using applications such as Alteryx.Responsible for the construction of basic to advanced SQL (Oracle / SQL Server) and basic PLSQL that provide the necessary data to support the business and feed our BI platforms.Support the creation, implementation, communication and ongoing support of data standards and processes to ensure standardized data naming, establishing consistent data definitions and monitoring overall data quality.Establish standards and best practices for dashboards and related technologies for the project.Manage a repository of reusable data visualization templates and views.Support Activities to document, evolve, and communicate artifacts developed using Tableau.Implement rowlevel security for embedded reporting.Perform other job related functions as assigned.
