Description

Key Responsibilities Answers questions regarding system procedures, online transactions, systems status and downtime procedures, and is typically located within a call center. Collaborates with network services, software systems engineering and/or application development in order to restore service and/or identify problems.Manages database utilities, monitors the relationships between the database users and applications, and maintains the organization's databases across multiple platforms and computing environments. Maintains database support tools, database tables and dictionaries, recovery and backup procedures.Qualifications Required Skills & Experience 4+ years of related experience working with integrated enterprise systemsOracle DB (10g, 11g, 12c) primarily on Linux and few on WindowsMicrosoft SQL (2018, 2012, 2014)Technical Knowledge and Skills Database migrations and upgradesOracle RAC, Data Guard, Active Data Guard, Golden GateWindows Clustering, Log Shipping, SQL Always OnDatabase schema creation and managementDatabase backup and recoveryEnsuring data integrity and availabilityPerformance management, tuning, trackingCapacity planning and reportingDatabase management, monitoring and maintenanceDatabase licensing and securityDatabase health, integrity and space.Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience, (Technician Degree CCI required for Germany); educational concentration in a computerbased discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems) or a technical discipline (e.g. Engineering, Mathematics) is preferred.Preferred Skills & Experience (not required) Pharma/Biotech or similarly regulated environment experience preferred.Oracle Exadata experience.Oracle DBA and (MS) SQL certifications
