Job Description 9+ years progressively responsible experience in network engineering/architecture Experience working on teams that is responsible for large scale distributed IP Network ISP, Carrier and/or Content Delivery Network experience is highly desired WAN design and Implementation (MultiVendorMPLS for redundancy) Experience of consolidated networks (voice / video / data) and associated management technologies (QoS, (Cisco), Traffic Shaping and WAN Acceleration Networking Switches, Routers, Hubs, Servers, Cables, Racks, Firewalls, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, Latency, VoIP, QoS, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, NHRP, ATM, PPP, MPLS, VTP, VRF Strong Knowledge and experience of the following vendors technologies (from) Cisco, Riverbed, F5 , Infoblox, Symantec (IPS), Aruba, Ability to work on Unix command line, and general understanding of DNS, reverse DNS, IPAM, SNMP and systems tools frequently used in Networking monitoring and management Must have the ability to facilitate and lead meetings to negotiate understanding and agreement; provide lead work direction and perform project management responsibilities, including developing logical, efficient project plans, establishing priorities, assigning and delegating tasks, providing guidance and training to team members, anticipating and avoiding problems, monitoring and managing task completion and working collaboratively with team members, other Engineering staff and customer groups to ensure project accountability Excellent time management and communications skills, ability to work with remote teams, without day to day supervision Certifications are desirable, including CCNP and CCIE Knowledge on the technologies mentioned below (Secondary skills) Network Security
