Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide daytoday support of multiple environments such as production, staging, and development.Install, configure and maintain Centos Linux and VMware servers.Install, configure and maintain EMC SAN environment (VNX/Clarion/Data Domain)Test and deploy Java application releases and patches.Set up, tune, deploy and manage the environments and servers for production, staging and development (Apache, JBoss, RHEL Linux, Tomcat, MySQL, Web services), including but not limited to FC, ISCSI, NFS, NAS and SAN.Optimize and Tune Java JVMDatabase connection pool (Tomcat) optimizationChef experience with accompanying Ruby knowledge.Work closely with our data center provider on data center infrastructure changes and documentation.Work closely with other departments to resolve systems, application and customer issues.Document and update procedures and processes as necessary.Be flexible to perform additional duties as required.This is an oncall position with a rotation schedule 24x7 (for escalations and incidents)Other Duties as requiredQualificationsSkills & Qualifications 23 years of experience with Linux Centos, AWS, deployments, and linux administration VPC management, Elastic Beanstock, CloudWatch (Events/Logs), IAM Roles, CloudTrail, EC2 Systems Management, cross account AIM group policies, auditing, and monitoring 1+ year CICD experience3+ years' experience with Linux & cloud environment 1+ year Jenkins experienceExpert in scripting (bash, go, python) Orchestration/Configure Automation (Puppet, Chef, etc)1+ year Sensu experienceProven analytical thinking and problem solving skills Must exhibit strong written, verbal and listening communication skills Ability and desire to thrive in a teamoriented, fastpaced environment DevOps/SRE practicesDegree in Computer Science, Information Technology or MIS Experience working in a highly regulated environment (i.e. FiServ, Banking, Payment etc.)
