Job IntroductionThe Network Analyst will report to the Global IT Operations Manager, working under the general direction of the Regional/Global BRM. The candidate for this job and his/her team members are responsible for the smooth operation and implementation of network infrastructure and related systems. The position requires the ability to plan, design, and implement WAN/LAN infrastructure to meet business requirements.Major ResponsibilitiesSupport, maintenance and troubleshooting of customer network systemsWorking with customers and 3rd party vendors on implementations / troubleshootingInternal presales/postsales technical consulting and supportCollaboration with regional and global network/security teamsKnowledge and EducationPractical and demonstrable knowledge in networking and firewallsKnowledge of switching / routing principals and technologiesUnderstanding of VPN and related technologiesKnowledge of videoconferencing protocols and principalsUnderstanding of IT security concepts and industry best practicesKnowledge of RSA Authentication Manager, RADIUS and TACACSUnderstanding of datacenter and related technologiesBasic understanding of IT business operations/processesWork ExperiencePractical experience with Cisco routers, switches and videoconferencing systemsFamiliarity with Riverbed Steelhead network acceleratorsExperience with FortiGate, Juniper and Check Point firewall/VPN solutionsPractical experience working in a team environment
