Responsibilities Working through the embedded system design process for LiDAR systems at various phases of the embedded systems design processEmbedded software development including high level system architecture and module development according to a product roadmapEmbedded software leadership to coordinate technical day to day activities of the embedded software team.Embedded engineering laboratory handson work using laboratory tools for board bring up and troubleshootingCollaboration on writing internal and customer facing specifications related to system architecturePeer review and integration of embedded system design work using industry toolsRequirements Embedded software development experience using both bare metal and real time operating system (RTOS) environments in different domains such as processors, microprocessors (hard and soft), and microcontrollersHighly proficient in CHighly proficient in at least one other general purpose programming language such as but not limited to Java, C#, or PythonSoftware architecture experience based on previous work of mid to high level complexity designsExcellent working knowledge of multiple wired communication protocols including I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, and EthernetExperience using a range of laboratory tools to verify board functionality including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, digital multimeter, function generators, or network analyzersBachelors in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
