Description

Purpose/Objective Ensures adherence to Bank Secrecy Act and OFAC requirements by routine review of CIP and CDD documentation on new and existing accounts. May provide clerical support services to other Bank Secrecy Act and OFAC areas. Key Accountabilities Verifies new account information and reconciles erroneous information to ensure accounts are set up properly and in accordance with established bank policies and procedures. Ensures all documentation has been obtained on a timely basis and follows up with branch staff for missing or exception items. Files all related forms and documents for account setup and/or changes to ensure proper records are maintained and readily available. 40%Monitors accounts for proper TINs and follows up accordingly on missing or inaccurate TINs; processes required mailings to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Performs the annual Nonresident alien review process. 40%Provides clerical assistance in support of CTR filings and/or CDD/EDD reviews. 15%Keeps abreast of Bank Secrecy regulations, especially as related to developments in AntiMoney Laundering techniques, controls and monitoring. 5%Ensures compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations, and prescribed policies/practices/procedures necessary to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards related to and required by ones duties.Education High School diploma preferred or equivalent experienceExperience General office experience1+ years' experience in a banking environmentSkills & Knowledge Excellent organizational skills; ability to multitaskExtremely detail oriented; high degree of accuracyProficiency in data entry; dexterity with keyboardExcellent computer skills with the ability to learn additional computer skills with easeProficient with Microsoft Office applications
