Description

Qualifications • Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related area of study. • 13 years of Development experience in C#, .NET, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MVC, Angular, and Visual Studio. • Proven experience in various all SDLC components.• Know when to use different methodologies and how to effectively manage each. • Understanding of Agile Priniciples is a plus. • Mobile App development for Android or IOS. (Preferred but not required). • Competent communication skills (sending and receiving), including clear and timely communication on business issues and assignments with peers, management, and product owners. • Ability to quickly learn and comprehend insurancerelated topics and relate that knowledge to the development process. • Experience with reporting tools and other BI technologies preferred.Duties • Gathers, documents, understands, and articulates functional, nonfunctional and business requirements that are already defined. • Designs and develops software applications and related components both independently and as part of a team. • Communicates status updates with team members and leaders to ensure timely completion of deliverables. • Performs unit, regression, and integrations testing for application changes to ensure high quality. • Tracks and monitors production systems for issue identification and prevention across multiple environments and operating platforms. • Researches and troubleshoots issues across different functional teams in order to rectify system problems in a timely manner. • Becomes familiar with Alfa’s interconnected technology framework and systems in order to understand impact of software changes.
