Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Information Systems or Computer Science preferred. • Knowledge of BI reporting platform preferred. • Competent communication skills (verbal and written)Duties • Translate business needs into technical solutions. • Participate in, and sometimes lead business requirement sessions for new data, reports, analysis, metadata, data quality, and performance with the Business Community. • Validate requirements to ensure data warehouse standards are met. • Works with architects to translate requirements into technical specifications. • Develops process for capturing and maintaining metadata from all data warehouse components. • Support development of ad hoc reports to support business initiatives and objectives. • Helps identify and assess potential data sources for mapping to the enterprise data warehouse canonical data model. • Performs data profiling tasks including column analysis, structural analysis, simple rule analysis, and complex rule analysis. • In concert with the ETL developers, contribute to the creation and continual maintenance of report documentation and Business Intelligence metadata.
