Position ResponsibilitiesBuild scalable systems that process, store, and serve terabytes of dataOptimize systems from hardware to software levelGather requirements and build new solutions to solve the pain points of analysts and developersDesired Skills & ExperienceExperience owning complete pipelines or data storesProduction experience with large scale distributed systems including triaging failures and performance tuningProficiency in modern compiled and scripting languages such as Java and PythonExperience with modern data technology including Hadoop, NoSQL data stores, keyvalue stores, MPP warehouse solutions, etc.Selfdirected, independent; amazing ability to get stuff doneStrong understanding of algorithms, web services, and data managementB.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent5+ years experience ideally including technical lead roles
