Description

Responsibilities Maintenance of the data warehouse, including persistence layer (operational data store, reporting warehouses, metadata management) and oversight of hardware/software configuration.Perform database optimization activities to improve query, integration and analytics performance. Develop, maintain and monitor automation for continuous validation of data quality, alerting and triage system for data quality failures including data validation, cleansing and scrubbing.Continually ensures completeness and compatibility of the technical infrastructure and DW implementation to support system performance, availability and architecture requirements.Create, modify and QA stored procedures, develop database objects, and data integration solutions (SSIS).Develop database objects and structures for retrieval and analytics according to defined specifications.Participate in the resolution of any databaserelated issues that occur during or after normal business hours.Documentation of data integration processes, metadata and other related items.Requirements 5+ years of experience in enterprise data warehouse architecture including principles, methods, techniques and technologies.5+ years of experience with data information managementrelated components of large complex data solutions. Expertise in data storage and management technologies for both OLTP and DW solutions.Strong technical understanding of data modeling, design and architecture principles and techniques across master data, transaction data and derived/analytic data.5+ years developing data integrations using SSIS or other ETL tools.Ability to identify organizational and enduser needs and assist in the development of Data Services products to meet those needs. Strong oral and written communication, problem solving skills and should be a team player but often work independently as well. Experience with one or more Business Intelligence tools / Reporting Systems, such as Tibco Spotfire , SSRS, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, or Pentaho would be helpful.Excellent written and oral communication skills with engineering and business teams. Should be a team player but often work independently as well. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of experience.
