Job Requirements Handson development experience using Python and DjangoExperience through the full product cycle from design to delivery and sustaining engineeringProficient in relational database design and implementationProven experience working with complex data structures and performance tuning activitiesProven abilities working within large, complex projects focused on endtoend business flows thru multiple systemsAbility to work with 3rd party software and develop code/APIs to be embedded or integrated into other applications or frameworksAbility to research and select suitable software frameworks to be integrated into projectsAbility to build, package and deploy the applications using continuous integration, with automated unit testsThe person must be able to work independently and closely with others and manage customer interaction in a positive and professional mannerAble to safely navigate work sites with occasional walking, climbing, standing, stepping, etc., during normal operating conditions (e.g. day/night, outdoor hot/cold weather, etc.) while utilizing designated personal protective equipment (PPE)Able to work in a dynamic, time sensitive, high visibility roleAbility to travel to regional locations and customer offices as requiredMinimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED5+ years of software development experience in an objectoriented programming language2+ years of software development experience in Python2+ years of software development experience in Django, HTML, JS, and SQLDemonstrated knowledge of related technologies, web standards, and development toolsMust have and maintain valid stateissued drivers license, be eligible to drive a Company or personal vehicle for business purposes and meet the requirements of the Companys vehicle program, policy and/or guidelinesPreferred QualificationsBachelor of Science in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related fieldExperience with R, Matlab, Jupyter, or other data analytics/visualization toolsWeb development experience using responsive design with HTML5, JavaScript, and BootstrapSystem administration experience with LinuxCloudcomputing experience with OpenStack, AWS, App Engine, or similar systemsBig Data programming experience with Hadoop, Redshift, or BigQueryExperience with data acquisition, SCADA, automation, and controlsExperience in Oil & Gas industry
