Your responsibilities Build delightful, usable, and accessible interfacesRapidly innovate on product with fail fast mindsetImplement features using cutting edge frontend technologies to acquire learners, increase conversion and engagement with rapid datadriven iterationMeasure your work thoroughly, analyze results, and generate hypotheses to drive new product changes through A/B testingAn appetite to dive in and understand all the nuances of frontend infrastructure too. Work with other developers to advance UI frameworks. We aspire to make frontend development easier, faster, and better for everyone at Coursera!Your skills 5+ years of experience in a relevant software engineering roleProficiency in the core technologies of the web Javascript, HTML, and CSS, experience in at least one modern UI framework (e.g. AngularJS, ReactJS, Backbone.js, etc), and experience in building largescale web applicationsExperience with implementing responsive web designs and writing unit and integration tests is a plusFervent belief in engineering quality and building technical leverage for othersComfortable working in a fastmoving team environment (we deploy many times a day!)Datadriven and strongly motivated by success and learnings through experiments and metrics analysis
