Description

ResponsibilitiesAct as a strategic solution advisor to the IT engineering teams.Lead programs to develop, maintain, and govern Continuous Integration and Delivery capabilities across the enterpriseDevelop, socialize, and communicate IT DevOps architectural standards.Participate in the Architecture / Design Review Board processesLead the architecture and engineering of DevOps and microservices supporting capabilitiesContinuous Integration and Delivery through a SourceToImage strategyApplication resiliency, high availability, and securityApplication elasticity and scalabilityApplication monitoring and alertingDirect the selection of appropriate technologies and patterns for the implementation of application hosting capabilitiesResearch and evaluate emerging technology, industry and market trendsWhen appropriate participate in producing the business case for leveraging emerging technology delivery processes and solutionsCreate reference models for, and facilitate the adoption of, emerging technologiesCreate reference models for, and facilitate the adoption of, emerging implementation patternsContinuously develop new skills in order to stay current with the changing IT and Business landscapeCoach and mentor solution architects, software engineers, and system engineers in the principles and practicalities of DevOpsQualificationsEducation Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of relevant education, training and experienceExperience 5 years of experience in IT architecture and engineeringDirect experience in the architecture of PaaS, Public / Private / Hybrid Cloud and DevOps platformsExperience with data management, architecture patterns, and largescale application platformsExperience with distributed computing environmentsExperience in Network engineeringAgile software development experience preferredRequires knowledge and use of containerization and virtualization technologiesExperience with ApplicationtoApplication integrationAptitude for, desire to, and experience in mentoring developers and engineersExceptional partnering and communication skillsAbility to work independently and selfpace work to meet required deadlines
