ResponsibilitiesEngineer and implement technical configurations on Window platformsEnsure SLAs and operational KPIs are metProvide the highestlevel support for the entire Windows platform and related infrastructureEnsure that suitable data backups are maintainedEnsure that Windows security remains intact and assist with the administration of Windows users permissions and profilesProactively monitor operational status, capacity and performance of supported Windows infrastructureMaintain and exercise Disaster Recovery proceduresEnsure documentation for supported infrastructure is developed and maintainedProvide technical engineering support for the solution cycle including dependency identification, risk/gap isolation, technology research/design, proof of concept and pilot/production implementationsVet solutions architecture for new initiatives and current technology enhancementsPartner with and engage IT technical staff outside Networking group to validate comprehensive integration approachDevelop and maintain documentation for Networking Department technology integrationsAssist Networking Management in illustrating technical component dependencies and relationships in architecture discussions meetingsMaintain knowledge of and ability to apply abstract technical concepts to aid in cross platform solution implementationsRelieve Network Management team of technical engineering requirementQualificationsJob QualificationsEducation Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fieldExperience 510 years of experience in related infrastructure, messaging and integration technologiesCompetent and diverse technical understanding of infrastructure and operational technologies including the OSI model, datacenter technologies, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN packet routing/switching, SAN, NAS, iSCSI, FCOE, Scripting, network access control, quality of service, firewall, load balancing, intrusion prevention, authentication, network isolation, security, active directory services, identity management, PKI, database/application stacks, client/server stacks, desktop and server virtualization, desktop delivery strategies, storage, collaboration technologies, data replication, backup, high availability, disaster recover, RTO/RPO, monitoring, asset control and Windows Clustering.Excellent interpersonal skillsDemonstrated problem solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills
