Description
Job Details Role specifications for the Configuration Manager include, but are not limited to Enforces established naming conventions for configuration items. Ensures that developers and configuration system users comply with identification standards for object types, environments, processes, life cycles, documentation, versions, formats, baselines, releases and templates
Liaises with the configuration Administrator/Librarian on population of the Configuration Management System
Work with application and infrastructure teams to establish effective configuration standards Manages asset and Configuration Management System, central libraries, common codes and data; ensures regular housekeeping of the asset and Configuration Management System
Responsible for ensuring the Configuration Management System has clearly defined relationships of all Configuration Items to assist Change Management impact assessment for RFCs and to ensure that implemented changes are as authorized
Identify opportunities for service improvements and automation recommendations
Performs configuration audits to check that the physical IT inventory is consistent with the asset and Configuration Management System and initiates any necessary corrective action
Creates and populates project libraries and CM system
Maintains project status information and status accounting records and reports
Validate Discovery Data accuracy in the uCMDB, ensure that configuration data is available when needed to support other service management processes
Identify, analyze, prepare risk mitigation tactics
Maintains up to date knowledge of industry best practice standards. Supports the enterprise by providing information on best practice implementations
Must have 35 years of experience as an business analyst or business process analyst, or 5+ years as a nonBA technical writer
Demonstrated success with adaptive approaches to solving process issues Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Analytical aptitude with a passion for efficiency and improvement
Curious and persistent problemsolver who is resilient in the face of challenge
Knowledge of financial regulatory governing bodies and standards to include ISO, PCI, SOX, FFIEC, etc.
