Team Overview PG&Es Information Technology (IT) organization is comprised of various unified departments which collaborate effectively in order to deliver high quality technology solutions.
In support of PG&Es Affordability journey, a number of key enterprise strategies were established to prepare PG&E to hit very aggressive financial targets. One strategy, classified as a key enabler, was to deploy Robotic Process Automation (RPA). It is the objective of the RPA COE to comprehensively deliver this capability, from origination to production. This includes opportunity discovery, automation product selection, creation of operating model and governance, communications and engagement, ongoing automation factory delivery, and all other responsibilities connected to developing an enterprise RPA function.
The delivery of enterprise Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is approached as a startup department within IT reporting to the Vice President of Business Technology. As the RPA COE, we will ask each team member to be comfortable taking on a variety of tasks to help our lean team reach our goals. We seek to deliver automation that will improve PG&E employees and customers safety, quality, and customer focus, as well as help meet PG&Es overall affordability targets. The vision of our RPA Center of Excellence (COE) is to create capacity, through process automation, so our people can do more of the innovative and critical work we will need in the future.
Position Summary
The RPA COE is looking for a Sr Business Analyst to support our RPA Technical Lead in leading all technical components of our enterprise process automation program. With the Strategy Lead and Technical Lead, you will be a key contributor to delivery of robotic process automation for PG&E. Further, you will help us grow our delivery into cognitive capabilities as we envision.
It is required that the successful candidate be a selfstarter, quick learner, think independently, have the ability to collaborate well with internal and external stakeholders and support staff, and ensure that client satisfaction objectives are met. The successful candidate must be a safety champion and must be able to maintain and handle inventory up to 20 pounds. It is possible that approximately 10% travel may be required. The location is the San Francisco General Office.
