Description The client is looking for a technical lead to join an existing project team developing .NET/SQL Server applications. This person will have experience as a leader and have skills to guide and mentor the team, enforcing coding standards & best practices, and will serve as the point of escalation for technical issues. The technical lead will be asked to complete and present design documents, collaborate with other technical SMEs in the department (architects, server and network admins, DBAs, BAs/QAs, etc.), and work closely with project managers to keep projects on schedule and budget. This team member will be responsible for identifying and working with the team to develop plans to remediate longterm technical debt for an existing software product.
Strong communications skills and the ability to work closely with a team
Required Skills Have the ability to develop, mentor, and review C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and RestAPI solutions 7 Years
Experience collaborating with and presenting to business and technical teams, and different levels of leadership 7 Years
Knowledge and experience in LINQ, and Entity Framework or similar ORM solutions 5 Years
Experience with HTML/CSS, JavaScript and/or TypeScript 5 Years
TSQL language skills working with MS SQL with continuous delivery 5 Years
Experience with Agile development methodologies 5 Years
Experience with automated unit testing, SSIS, Jenkins, GIT and VSTS 3 Years
Experience filling the role of Technical Lead for a team of 4+ 2 Years
Technical understanding of infrastructure components, their dependencies, and interactions between servers, virtual systems.
