Infrastructure Architect

Description

Principle Activities and Duties Manages Active Directory design, architecture, and implementation.
Manages virtual computing design, architecture, and implementation.
Manages application load balancing.
Involved in the design, architecture, and implementation of backup and recovery solutions.
Champions process automation within the department.
Ability to apply standard troubleshooting theory.
Effectively structures work and work flow.
Manage assigned daily tasks with minimal oversight.
Assures that builtin tests are properly designed and proactively checked.
Works with Project Managers to ensure successful implementation of Projects.
Provide exceptional customer service via phone and email, and in person as appropriate
Handles difficult customer situations through experience and conflict resolution strategies.
Will be responsible for creating management reports.
Qualifications Associates Degree or postgraduate certification in Computer Science, Software Development, Information Systems or equivalent required. Will consider commensurate experience. Minimum five years of Windows system implementation experience required. Minimum four years of Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, or VMware Horizon implementation experience required. Minimum four years of Storage (iSCSI, CIFS, NFS, FC) implementation experience required. Minimum four years of process improvement and automation required. Minimum two years of Network support and implementation experience required. Ability to adapt to new technical concepts and address complex problems required. Ability to troubleshoot and research issues, using internal and external resources such as technical forums and knowledge bases available through the Internet required. Selfmotivated individual, able to work independently or on a team required. Ability to multitask and work productively in a dynamic, fastpaced, sometimes stressful environment required. Ability to adapt to changing business requirements and react quickly required. Microsoft Solutions Experience (Active Directory, SQL, Office 365, SharePoint) preferred. VMware Solution Experience preferred. Cisco UCS Experience preferred. Familiarity with load balancing technologies preferred.
Experience with and implementation of Active Directory objects ACLs, GPOs, RODCs preferred. Familiarity with Backup and Recovery technologies preferred. Advanced Scripting experience with Windows PowerShell required.
