Summary of Position As a Senior Web Developer, you'll be developing a variety of exciting features for our Caesars Entertainment websites! You will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of a functional and attractive digital environment using new digital technologies. This role aspires to combine usability with visual design to ensure a great user experience that drives conversion.
Responsibilities Develop components utilizing Kotlin, Typescript, HTML DSL, and LESS
Break down graphic web comps into viable wellformed code
Develop rich internet applications for customer facing interfaces using the appropriate coding technology
Optimize code/applications for maximum speed
Design mobile based features
Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers
Write functional requirement documents and guides
Collaborate with internal resources to enhance and troubleshoot issues with delivered solutions
Required Skills Expertise in object oriented programming, preferably with Java.
Experience with version control software (GitHub) and using IDEs (Intellij IDEA) is preferred.
Experience working with Adobe AEM/CQ and Apache Sling.
Comfort level using Kotlin, Javascript, Typescript, HTML, CSS, Backbone.js, jQuery, and Require.js is desired but optional
Familiarity with and an understanding of web design and information architecture, as well as knowledge of web usability standards
Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
At least five (5) year of experience working in software development for WEB
Must be able to work on multiple projects concurrently and be self sufficient
Familiarity with Agile software development practices is a plus
Degree in a related field and/or equivalent work experience is required
