Description
Must Haves Minimum of 6+ years C/C++ development experience on Unix platform of any flavor, RedHat Linux a Plus. Experience at the system level development with C
Direct handson development in C++ in previous 4+ years (minimum) and with strong prior 5+ years of core C programming
Experience with STL a must
Good understanding of relational data models, SQL and databases
History of successfully completed software projects
Pluses Multithread programming exposure is nice to have
Experience with Boost and C++ 11 and network programming
Experience using software version control experience preferably GIT
Software testing experience, other keywords include unit test / test plan / test strategy / automated testing
Strong scripting either in Perl, Python or Shell
Experience implementing design patterns and ODBC library implementations
Exposure to DB2 and IBM MQ
with 4+ years within the financial industry with preferable exposure to payment systems or trade processing systems
Knowledge of various useful open source packages
