Job Description
This position will help grow HSB's IoT business by designing and implementing financial service programs that enable OEMs and service providers to deliver IoT solutions. Programs could include solutions that help companies deliver current services as well as expand into new business models. Business development and customer research activities are a component of the role. The functions are Structure, conduct and/or oversee preliminary research and analysis
Organize and execute a multifaceted business development plan
Identify, qualify and pursue new opportunities at prospects and select existing partners
Visit customers as required and develop relationships with key decision makers at senior levels in their organization
Perform assessments to identify the needs of the client
Determine possible solutions to the client's problem
Develops and delivers presentations
Work closely with HSB inhouse engineering and product development to develop solutions
Explain and sell complex financial solutions
Project manage the implementation of the solutions
Negotiate and overcome objections from stakeholders and various levels of management
Coordinate with global colleagues in developing financial product solutions
Qualifications
Required Bachelor's Degree in engineering or finance
Over 15 years of experience with a combination of project management, financial understanding, business development in complex solutions selling environments, strategic analysis and an understanding of various technology applications
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with others at various levels of responsibility
Strong skill in oral and written communication including the ability to effectively lead discussions at all levels of the company to define problems, identify solutions and facilitate change
Effectively present information in group settings
Ability to multitask over a number of initiatives
Strong problem solving, analytical, and presentation capabilities
