Job Description The Advanced Analytics Services Unit within the Data Delivery Section of Information Management and Analytics (IMA) is seeking a Senior Analyst Programmer to work within our team of highly skilled and motivated staff. Our unit supports the needs of Data Scientists and others developing predictive models using machine learning techniques, natural language processing, and other advanced analytical methods. We deliver tools, environments, and applications that researchers use to discover patterns in data that can lead to new processes, protocols, and treatments that can improve the lives of Mayo patients.
The ideal candidate is one who can work in a highly skilled and very technical team while meeting aggressive milestones
The candidate will need experience with Java and strong REST services experience,
In addition the candidate will need to have an understanding of Apache NiFi as an integration and/or ELT Engine utilizing JSON and XML.
Experience with Elasticsearch and Python would also be beneficial.
Experience with R, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are also a plus.
