Description
Required Skills Strong experience with Makefiles
Experience with Git and/or GitHub as a configuration management tool
Experience working on a Linux platform
Experience building out frameworks for how software will be deployed
Position Description Our client is looking for a Release Engineer to help with a migration project from Perforce over to GitHub.
Some of the responsibilities include Support product engineering by Overseeing the source code management system
Automating build framework and automated regression testing from framework
Developing and coordinating an overall Makefile/build hierarchy
Crafting tools and monitoring used in software deployments
Coordinating publishing of build artifacts, RPMs, ISOs, etc.
Must haves Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field
Strong experience with Makefiles
Experience with Git and/or GitHub as a configuration management tool
Experience working on a Linux platform
Experience building out frameworks for how software will be deployed
Nice to haves Masters Degree in Computer Science or higher
Additional Requirements Must be able to pass a background check or drug test
