ServiceNow Technical Lead

Required Duties and Responsibilities
This position is responsible for the overall technical design of the ServiceNow platform and mapping business requirements to system and technical solutions, and will have an opportunity to stand up a global ServiceNow practice. The selected candidate will work closely with application development and infrastructure teams, primarily data center, server and network teams, and will be responsible for mentoring other ServiceNow developers. They will also perform the role of a senior developer in support of solutions, implementations and optimization of the system. They will weigh in on architectural decisions and provide overall leadership to the technical team. Their abilities to manage up/down and distill technical topics in a way that can be understood by stakeholders and functional teams is critical. They will be responsible and empowered to escalate to Sr. Management on any issues in the technical environment.
Experience 5+ (current) years of Service Now experience in an increasingly technical/architecture role with specific experience with the ITSM, ITOM and ITBM products
ITSM CMDB, Change, Incident, Problem, Knowledge, Service Catalog
ITOM Discovery, Orchestration, Event Management
ITBM Performance Analytics, Software Asset Management
3+ successful project implementations of ServiceNow to be able to share experiences and lessons learned
5+ (current) years managing and reviewing Development resources (employees and contractors) on Application UI Configuration
Workflow configuration
Development of requirement integration components (SSO, LDAP, etc.)
Development of required client specific reporting
3+ (current) years of experience with WebServices, API's, Databaselevel integrations/ETL
3+ (current) years of experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, etc.) and working a SaaS environment
Must be able to demonstrate excellent written/verbal communication skills, and have a teamplayer, cando attitude
Required Qualifications Prior implementation experience with one or more of the following data separation approaches within ServiceNow Domain Separation, Application Inheritance, Adhoc (data policies and security rules)
Preferred Skills
Enterprise architecture domains
Service oriented and distributed application architecture in the enterprise (web services, data access and persistence, client/server, etc)
IT Operations experience in storage, network and related configuration items of enterprise environments
Experience in system administration of UNIX and Windows servers
Windows/Linux Operating System, Virtual machine configuration and connectivity
Advanced and current understanding (and practice) in Windows Domain and Unix System Administration. Including the understanding of described domain structures, user permission levels, group policy objects and the execution of SUDO Policies
AMZN API, VMware automation, Puppet/Chef/Ansible, integration & automation expertise with orchestration
Event management platforms (Netcool, HPOM, BPPM, etc)
Cloud Management Platforms such as AWS, VMware, BMC, etc.
Scripting with PowerShell, Perl, WMI, SSH, Python, JavaScript. XPath
