Description

Responsibilities Design cloud foundation on AWS (Account, VPC, Networking (VPN, DirectConnect, Peering), Security (IAM, KMS) with Enterprise scalability and resiliency
Design and Implement Shared Services on AWS DNS, AD, Logging, Monitoring, Backup, DR
Design and implement AWS infrastructure services such as Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3), Amazon SimpleDB/RDS databases, etc.)
Determine tools and design processes to manage AWS environment
Understand customer business needs, conduct technical discussions and document business requirements
Perform deep dive analysis on Applications to be migrated and recommend remediation for strategic and tactical wins
Migration of existing applications using AWS cloud services through automation tools
Lead clientfacing technical activities to ensure required business value is delivered
Provide technical oversight, review and quality control of technical artifacts throughout the project
Act as an escalation point, supporting engineering teams for technical issues and decisions.
Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (eg. security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA etc.)
Optimize cloud deployments using partner Management tools example CloudHealth
Required Skills 12+ years' experience in IT Industry, 4+ years in AWS
Infrastructure background and strong in security and networking
AWS Solution Architect certified
Experience with Cloud foundation design and implementation
Customer facing skills to represent AWS well within the customer's environment
Strong track record of implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments
Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (eg. security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA etc.)
Advanced knowledge of the primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53 & S3).
Experience managing data center operations, including data assurance, monitoring, alerting and notifications.
Leading highlyavailable and faulttolerant enterprise and webscale software deployments.
Experience with Configuration Management using CloudFormation
Experience with CI/CD pipeline including Jenkins, Chef, Terraform
Nice to Have Skills Infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting (E.g. shell, Python, Ruby, Powershell).
Experience with cloud migration tools (Cloudamize, Racemi, Appzero, etc.
Experience with microservices and containers (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
