Description
Experience / Requirements
Three (3) years' of experience in Database design and development
DB2 operation, administration, and maintenance (including SQL) on version 10 or higher
BMC utilities including Apptune, SQL Explorer, Load Plus, Upload Plus, Copy Plus, Reorg Plus, Recovery Plus, Opertune, XBM, and DASD Manager, CA Reporting Facility (PRF), Embarcadero ER/Studio
Operations, installation, administration and maintenance on DB2 version 10 or higher
Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
Ability to work weekends or extended days on an occasional basis.
Experience Preferred in any of the following platforms but not required
Oracle operation, installation, administration, and maintenance on version 10G or higher.
Database backup and recovery, performance tuning, database design, PL/SQL, UNIX shell scripting, UNIX OS concepts, data partitioning, and SQLPLUS.
Quest Central and Quest Spotlight for DB2 LUW.
Integration Services, Analysis Services, Profiler, Management Studio, SQLCMD, Idera Diagnostic Manager, Microsoft Operations Manager and Ignite.
Informix 9.4 on AIX, 4Gl knowledge, SQL tuning, schema evolution, backup and recovery using native commands.
