ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Other duties may be assigned. A teammate in this position must have the ability to Lead B2B (EDI) programmer primarily for X12 and XML documents.
Work with internal and external business teams to define, design, code, test, implement and maintain all aspects of electronic documents to suit business needs, particularly new business opportunities or new documents that partners request.
Work directly with partner specifications to perform gap analysis and convert these into deployable translation maps. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot IBM Sterling B2B Integrator. Build or maintain business processes within IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
Provide setup and support for communication of files using standard internet protocols.
Assist transitioning current B2B partners from legacy Gentran system to IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
Provide on call support for all the above as required to support needs of business.
Log accurate information into the timetracking system.
Support all applications.
Continuously learn new tools, environments and acquire new skills to maintain and enhance job performance.
Ensure McLane Methodology is followed.
Ensure requirements and development deliverables match the design specifications.
Ensure that the test plans match the requirements.
Ensure that the test results match the test plans.
Provide highlevel and detailed estimates.
Provide highlevel and detailed developer specifications.
Create an appropriate test environment for the project team to work with and validate the delivered solutions.
Develop and test solutions using the McLane development tools in the development environment that meet McLane standards.
Provide the appropriate implementation documentation for installs.
Manage and execute the systemtesting process and UAT process.
Support the implementation and postimplementation activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS A teammate in this position must have Minimum 5 years total work experience with Sterling Integrator or Gentran Application Integratormap interface(s)
Ability to provide complete gap analysis between partner electronic document specifications and internal systems
Last 3 years of work experience must be in B2B (EDI) new development Extensive knowledge and experience with X12 EDI documents to include (832, 879, 888, 850, 855, 860, 875, 856, 810, 880, 820)
Experience with XML data mapping and/or XSLT transformations preferably in Sterling Integrator
Working knowledge of Sterling Integrator business processes, services, adapters but preference given to candidates with extensive work experience in this area
Work experience setting up and troubleshooting B2B communications to include (AS2, SFTP, FTP, Connect Direct)
Bachelors degree or equivalent, related experience.
Have 45 years of broadbased experience in specific and related disciplines of the business.
Ability to work independently and with other team members.
Prefer candidates with current or past COBOL and JCL experience but not required.
Must pass a basic skills test based upon the requirements of the position.
