Description
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities Accept the responsibilities and deliver outstanding customer service in the execution of Resolve support requests related to computer systems, software, and hardware
Respond to issues in person, via phone, or using remote support software
Maintain daily performance and maintenance of computer and network systems
Install, upgrade, and repair workstation and server hardware and software
Utilize diagnostic programs to resolve problems
Troubleshoot technical problems with LAN, WAN, WiFi, VPN and other network systems
Install peripherals including monitors, mice, keyboards, printers, etc.
Changing of daily server backup drives, and monitoring of nightly backups
Configure and install VOIP and soft phones, associated cabling and accessories
Communicate with staff about computer usage and future needs
Follow up with users to ensure complete resolution of problems
Focus on continuing education and developing technological knowledge

Knowledge of hardware and software
Operating Systems Windows 7/10, Linux
Microsoft Active Directory and related Directory Services
VMware, Veeam, Virtualization Concepts
Cisco Voice, Networking, and Collaboration
Twoyear college or university program certificate; or four years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Two to three years of Help Desk Support and Network Administration. Knowledge of desktop and server hardware and software. Understanding of network design, configuration, and administration.
