Description
Responsibilities
Operational System Support
Administer the IT service management infrastructure, including Proactive performance monitoring, breakfix support (debug), and problem management for applications
Anticipate and plan application maintenance (e.g. upgrades, patch installation),
Perform and oversee configuration modifications and content updates, document system changes
Manage integrations with other systems that support automated feeds
Reviews vendor version upgrade specifications and performs integration tests on delivered enhancements and upgrades.
Assures compliance with federal, state, and local laws or regulations as directed by key stakeholders.
Understands regulatory requirements to better prepare the organization for voluntary accreditations.
Provides input into preparation of project plans and monitors own task schedule.
Works collaboratively with other IT group members and end users to ensure optimal application functionality.
Assists with training, development, and mentoring of staff.
Provides presentations to internal staff, and clients.
Plans, conducts, and documents proceedings of meetings as needed.
Provides timely and accurate documentation.
Provides night and weekend oncall coverage as scheduled. May assume additional oncall responsibilities as directed by Department Manager.
Works closely with other department teams to ensure efficient and effective implementation of project solutions.
Maintains regular and consistent attendance at work.
Adheres to all UnityPoint Health Personnel policies and procedures, departmental policies and Safety guidelines.
Behaves in a manner consistent with all Corporate Compliance policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as requested by Department Manager to facilitate the smooth and effective operations of the department.
Understands and supports Service Level Agreement for issues resolution. Participates in root cause analysis and problem solving activities to improve customer service.
Adheres to Change Management Policies and Procedures.
Understands and supports change request processes.
Acts as a mentor to other members of the department and/or team.
Ensures that all members of the team are adhering to implementation standards.
Works closely with the department Manager in developing new standards.
Portrays a highly proactive approach to projects. Is able to document tasks that need to be accomplished with little assistance of Manager.
