.NET Developer

Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Candidate will work in a team environment with responsibilities including, but are not limited to, the following items Participate in development of Pratt & Miller's software suite using .Net, SQL Server, Web, and Reporting technologies
Work closely with software architect and project managers to make sure projects are on track throughout each development cycle
Provide time and resource estimates for assigned development tasks
Implement existing Pratt & Miller frameworks, design patterns, standards, and best practices
Work with detailed Functional Specifications and collaborate with BA's and SME's
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS Required Education and Training BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent
At least 8 years of professional software development using mostly Microsoft technologies with emphasis on development of enterpriselevel applications
Experience in working in a collaborative team environment with members in multiple locations
Required Specialized Knowledge and Skills Strong objectoriented design and implementation skills
Extensive experience with Microsoft C#
Ability to write and maintain TSql stored procedures and understand relational database design
Understand unit testing tools and methodologies including DI/IoC and mocking
Very good Interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Preferred Specialized Knowledge and Skills Experience with source code version control software (preferably Subversion)
Mobile and/or web application development, either responsive web or native device
Active Reports or similar reporting tool a plus
Experience with WPF
