Responsibilities
Translate business goals and requirements into SAP Big data solutions through participation in blueprint workshops, facilitating decisions on best practice solutions, guiding configuration and providing GoLive support
Participate in the design, implementation and support of SAP Big Data, Analytics, HANA and Cloud solutions
Natural ability to look for solution gaps and provide technical recommendations
Ability to interact with both business and technical stakeholders of clients to provide a sound technical solution
Can conduct and lead SAP Big Data and Analyticsrelated discussions with customers
Participate in team knowledge sharing, design reviews, Analytics CoE operations, etc.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field required with at least 6 years relative professional experience; OR Bachelors with Masters degree in business, IT or related field with at least 4 years relative professional experience
Strong business acumen and be able to recognize problems and opportunities and provide valueadded business solutions
Proven track record in designing, developing and implementing Data Warehouse or Big Data or Data Lake solutions.
Experience of Hadoop technologies including Hive, YARN, HBase, HDFS, SPARK, and/or MapReduce
Experience of Big Data and Cloud models with ability to design private and public workspaces
Experience on setting up scalable Data lakes in Hadoop environment.
Experience to ingest and model structure and unstructured data for BI & Analytics presentations
Experience and core deep foundational and functional knowledge on Hadoop Framework/Integration components
Knowledge in one or more of the following SAP skills HANA modelling and scripting experience including ability to write complex stored procedures and HANA views using SQL; High level knowledge of various replication methods to HANA and various reporting techniques on top of HANA views
Knowledge of SAP BW or SAP BO.
Knowledge of Data Integration technologies like Alteryx, SAP Data Services, SDI, and HANA Cloud Integration, etc.
Experience leading requirements analyses to understand BI, selfservice data preparations/discovery, and data requirements in detail.
Experience working effectively in a matrix organization and ambiguous work environment
Experience and understanding of Medical Device industry preferred
Experience working with data from various ERPs, 3rdparties, public, unstructured is a plus
Experience in driving Big Data use cases across Business and IT groups
Experience programming/scripting in Python, R or Java to support Big Data engagements.
Has played lead consulting roles in SAP & NonSAP small to large projects.
Predictive modeling with R/Python is plus
