Job Description
In this highlyvisible role, the WMS Engineer will Actively promote the use of standardized solutions and work with BD and solution design colleagues to embed the principles of standardization into the sales and solution design processes
Provide expertise in the enhancement, modifications, and development in the future usage of the technology
Summary of Key Accountabilities Deliver a working model for updating stakeholders within US and WMS CoE about release all products and services within portfolio
Drive compliance of BD in the active selling of WMS CoE products to customers, including representing IT in customer meetings and supporting US IT EVP in delivering legacy replacement strategy
Budget tracking for all activities including implementation support, enhancement definition and consultancy services
Development of a framework to ensure that requests for enhancements are vetted, logged and processed in a standard manner prior to them being passed for analysis.
Management (guardian) of functionality releases into WMS products for the full lifecycle ensuring that releases follow the correct process, correct people are communicated too, and correct controls and approvals are observed including instruction to and proof of testing. Also ensuring that all online resources are updated and communicated at the correct time.
Manage the EXPRESS and STANDARD WMS charging model to ensure contracts are charged appropriately for the implementation and use of the products.
Communication of releases, new resources, webinar session, successful implementations to the rest of the CEVA business by the most appropriate means
Support and personal development activities for Super user community
Education and Experience University Degree in IT or Business, or equivalent experience
5+ years of relevant technical or business work
Five plus years experience in 3PL from a systems and operational perspective.
2 years in a WMS consultant or similar role with related JDA experience
2 years in a logistics operational management role or similar
