Cyber Security Analyst

Description

Lead the development, implementation and management of relevant metrics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the information security management systems, risk management and related compliance programs.
Develop and implement appropriate operational metrics and KPIs and provide regular reporting on the risk posture and compliance.
Experience with collecting, analyzing, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources for the purposes of documenting results and analyzing finds to provide advanced threat intelligence.
Intimate knowledge of the Cyber Kill Chain, MITRE ATT&CK Framework and other relevant network defense and intelligence frameworks.
Establish relationships between Cybersecurity and other groups both internal (network security, email, Law) and external (law enforcement agencies, Threat Intel sharing organizations and government sponsored threat sharing organizations) to develop shared metric and performance assurance standards.
Research best practices, conduct trend analysis, and identify gaps in developing futurestate risk posture and specifications.
Identify potential new sources of information and integrate numerous types of cyber security data sources into cyber threat analysis products.
Communicate to team members and senior leadership both quantifiable and qualifiable cyber risk to the enterprise through briefings and reporting.
Work with Business and IT Stakeholders to understand Cybersecurity requirements, data sets, key success criteria and issues which can be solved using analytics.
Help to create intelligence reporting methods that communicate effectively to every level of the organization.
Blend cyber threat and technical intelligence to create products that provide actionable intelligence and situational awareness.
Respond to and ensure requests for information are answered in a thorough and expedient manner.
Collaborate using information and knowledge sharing networks and professional relationships to achieve common goals.
