BizTalk EDI Programmer/Analyst

Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Work with EDI analysts to clarify and approve requirements and business rules. Validate and clarify business requirements, particularly those in SFHPs companion guide and drive the transition to technical design. Design, develop, implement, and deploy solutions that support EDI transactions and processes Create and execute unit, integration and regression test plans based on system and validation requirements. Troubleshoot, optimize, and tune solutions and batch processes supporting EDI transactions Document all workproducts, per SFHPs best practices and standards. Maintain existing code and fix bugs whenever needed. Ensure that all project timelines are met. Ensure smooth functioning of our development, QA, and production environments. Collaborate with functional business units to gather business and technical requirements. Conduct data analysis; identify issues and recommend and implement solutions. Performs other related duties and special projects as assigned. CORE COMPETENCIES / KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS Experience with developing within the context of an application lifecycle to support enterprisewide or departmentwide business processes. Strong experience with Microsoft BizTalk, particularly with pipelines, orchestrations, adaptors and message box. Familiarity with industry standard health data code sets such as ICD9/ICD10, CPT/HCPCS, revenue codes, and NDC (Pharmacy). Strong databaserelated development skills (complex SQL queries, complex store procedures and userdefined functions in SQL Server 2008R2 or higher). Experience with EDI/X12 file formats and other industry standards. Familiarity with Edifecs, or like product to support EDI orchestration and integration to business applications & processes Ability to resolve issues with unclear requirements, and achieve a successful result. Strong organization, time management and multitasking abilities. Solid analytical skills and problem solving skills with the ability to formulate and communicate recommendations for improvement. Experience in data analysis, data modeling (particularly OLTP design, 3rd normal form). Have the ability to work effectively with others and have great interpersonal skills. Be highly organized and work well under pressure. Must be willing to accept responsibility and to show good judgment, initiative, and resourcefulness. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING REQUIRED Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. 57+Years of Microsoft BizTalk 2013/16 57+Years of advanced SQL Server 2008 or higher experience. 35+Years of QNXT/QConnect preferred
