Job Summary The primary responsibility of the ServiceNow Consultant is to analyze, design, develop, maintain and enhance ServiceNow solutions for Brandywine Global Investment Management. The individual will utilize expertise in IT Service Management, user experience, business analysis, and ServiceNow systems configuration and development to create and deliver solutions that best meets the needs of BGIM, within aggressive timeframes. The individual will be responsible for all phases of solution delivery, including planning, design, development, testing, and migration activities. The individual will be required to work with all stakeholders including BGIM Subject Matter Experts, ServiceNow System Administrators, IT Infrastructure staff and management, 3rd party implementation partners, and the vendor ServiceNow on solution implementations. The individual will provide knowledge transition, share their expertise, and provide training and mentoring to other members of the IT organization upon completion of the assignment(s). Essential Job Functions Determine Service Management requirements by evaluating business and technical strategies and requirements, researching appropriate standards, and conducting system analysis.
Analyze current trends and technologies in the ITSM and ServiceNow market.
Whiteboard, diagram, and/or prototype solution options effectively with both business and technical staff, clearly identifying the pros and cons of each option.
Design simple, easytouse user interfaces within ServiceNow applying human factors principles. Provide guidance and direction on best practices for ServiceNow implementations, while aiming to maximize user experience and minimize support requirements.
Lead configuration, development, testing, and migration processes, preferably using an agile methodology.
Ensure compliance with relevant BGIM and industry policies and regulations.
Raise risks and issues to the attention of management.
Share innovative ideas, think outside the box, and challenge the status quo.
Participate in all phases of the SDLC to advise BGIM and vendor staff.
Maintains contemporary knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and related integrations. Job Specifications Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must have 3+ years of experience implementing ServiceNow solutions encompassing configuration, scripting, development and integrations. Must have experience implementing Service Catalogs, Incident Management, Service Request Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and CMDBs (both horizontal and vertical mapping) using the ServiceNow platform. Must have experience designing and enhancing the user experience using the ServiceNow Portal and/or other ServiceNow capabilities. Knowledge of agile/scrum methodology, including experience as a scrum master. Knowledge of programming language structures, logic, and techniques.
Work independently as well as thrive in a team oriented environment. Quickly adapt to changing priorities.
Work with Infrastructure team on planning and executing requirements for development environments and QA test data, including data refresh procedures. Also responsible for Unit and QA testing.

Education/Experience Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or equivalent.
Minimum 7 years IT experience.
ServiceNow certification(s) a plus. Requirements
