Manager, IT Network Security & Communications

Description

Essential Functions Manage Network architecture and services for global WAN, North American LAN, access points, and Cloud Computing architecture. Set standards and security practices in relation to the Network technologies collaborating with the EMEA and APAC teams.
Manage Email and messaging architecture and services for North America. Set standards and security practices in relation to the email and messaging technologies collaborating with the EMEA and APAC teams.
Manage, develop, improve and organize implementation of telecommunications (data, voice and video), and support for delivery of these services for North America. Set standards and security practices in relation to the telecommunication technologies collaborating with the EMEA and APAC teams.
Establish technical architecture and service engineering solutions to support optimum solutions (inhouse, outsourced and cloud based), considering governance, compliance rules, supportability and maintainability
Work closely with the IT Support teams.
Work with IT Governance to establish commercial relationships (contract negotiations)
Stay abreast of services developments in the market (technology and service provider watch)
Provide second line of support to Infrastructure Services team
Provide second line of support to endusers of IT services
Ensure that all required training is identified for and completed by all direct reports.
Evaluate staffing needs and costs; identifies, hires and promotes individuals with the right skills and competencies necessary to achieve superior results.
Develop a team environment that values diversity and uses various individuals strengths to the benefit of the team.
