Womens Healthcare (WHC) Sales Operations WHC Sales Excellence supports the WHC Sales team including the Sales Leadership/Management teams within the Whippany Office. Specific responsibilities of the WHC Sales Excellence team include supporting fieldfacing tools (i.e. Veeva CRM, Tableau and other Reporting platforms), distribution oversight, data integration and serving as main point of contact for the sales team. WHC Sales Excellence team collaborates with various internal partners, working to implement large scale IT projects which impact field facing tools. The team also owns all field and home office reporting to measure performance and success of the business unit.
The WHC Tableau Developer Sales Reporting position will support the Deputy Director, Distribution Services & Operations Lead in the creation of Ad Hoc reports to support Sales Leadership, Marketing and Home Office individuals. Specifically, the WHC Tableau Developer Sales Reporting will translate business requirements and lead overall design, development, testing and production implementation of all WHC Tableau Dashboards.
POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop WHC Tableau Dashboards Requirement gathering/analysis, design, development, testing, production rollover and postproduction support/maintenance for reporting & analysis projects
Produce attractive visuals/dashboards to convey the story inside the data using techniques for guided analytics, interactive dashboard design & visual best practices
Troubleshooting performance issues associated with Tableau reports and oversight of administrative tasks such as publishing workbooks, setting permissions, managing ownerships, providing access to the users and adding them to the specific group and scheduled instances for reports in Tableau Server
Interact with existing database developers and BA to master understanding of existing schema and WHC data assets including but not limited to the following data types distribution / sales order, field force CRM calls, contracting, 3rd party prescription and claims data
Ability to directly interact with business users in the requirements gathering and testing phase of development
Assist with governance process and data integrity tracking changes, approval and updates to Tableau dashboards to ensure consistency & accuracy of the reports
Education Requirement(s) Bachelors degree required
Skill & Competency Requirements Tableau Desktop / Development Experience (at least 3 years of experience)
o Worksheet and dashboard creation
o Drill down, parameterization, hierarchies, table calculations, user filters/ user specific views, conditional formatting, multiple axis,
o Applying complex, compound calculations to large, complex datasets
o Visualization heat maps, cross tabs, scatter plots, geographic map, pie/bar charts,
SQL (Teradata SQL Assistant) / SAS programming
Experience with Pharmaceutical Sales data (i.e. IMS, SHS)
Microsoft SQL Server, Excel, Access
Preferences Project Management Experience
SAP BW Experience
Pharma Sales Team Support understanding specific KPIs, metrics, reports and needs of this audience
