eSuite Application Developer

Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Providing onsite application development and support of our global eSuite project Act as a technical representative during releases, meetings with business partners, project management, and other internal teams
Scope out work requests, determining business needs and provide reliable estimates
Lead a remote team via daily scrum and task direction via Team Foundation Server (TFS)
Task assignment and followup
Manage TFS work items queues
Code review, merge and application testing
Proactively monitor application issues via Dynatrace monitoring tool
Specific Skill Sets Requirements Six years programming experience in C#, WCF, Web API, and web application development
Experience with clientside libraries (jQuery, Knockout.js, Backbone.js, Guards.js), JSON
Strong database design and SQL skills using SQL Server
TFS source control, work item management, and build management
Knowledge of clientside Web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, XSL and XPATH
Good grasp of Object Oriented concepts, techniques and patterns Participation in full development life cycle of product/application development
Eager to take ownership of the quality of code of team across the entire suite of applications and participate in a rigorous process of iteration planning, code review, and managing releases
Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects Strong analytical and problemsolving skills Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be a team player with good people skills
Ability to interface with all levels within the organization Proficient with Visio and MS Office products
Willing to work around a global release schedule, often early or late at night
Willing to participate in an oncall rotation including weekends
Specific Skill Sets Desired, But Not Necessarily Required Development and application integration with Sitecore
Twitter Bootstrap, Elasticsearch, Event Sourcing, IoC containers
Build and deployment automation
Experience working with decentralized teams across multiple time zones
