Description
Required Skills (12 sentences on minimum levels of previous experience required, including degrees, licenses, specialized technical knowledge or certifications required or preferred)
Experience with Guidewire Insurance Policy Administration Systems (Policy Center, Claims Center, Billing Center)
Experience with traditional RDBMS databases and data warehouses
Expert at SQL queries needed to query & analyze data
Experience in data design, compiling data for analytics, working with data analysis methodologies and supporting tools
Knowledge of data management standards, data governance practices and data quality. Demonstrate an understanding of key data management principles and data use.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Programming, Management Information Systems, or related field. Insurance industry experience is a plus.
Experience with the Big Data / Hadoop ecosystem of applications and functional understanding of distributed data processing systems architecture and tools (Data Lake / NoSQL / Spark / HIVE, Python / HDFS / MapReduce etc) is a plus
Experience with Amazon Big Data ecosystem (EMR, Kinesis, Aurora) is a plus.
