User Acceptance Tester

Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities Contributes and participates in the development of detailed Business Requirements Documents for systems upgrades, fixes, and enhancements.
Creates and executes software test strategies and plans, tracks results, logs issues and process deviations, and ensures proper disposition and resolution of open issues.
Provides estimations for UAT Testing
Facilitates meetings to ensure proper communication around active, inprocess issues.
Researches unexpected test results to identify root causes and ensures their proper resolution.
Analyzes active issues to assess impact to training, documentation, etc.
Researches and resolves production support issues.
Identifies, reports, and documents risks associated with testing and ensures their proper mitigation.
Serves as a primary subject matter expert (SME) on one or more applications.
Reporting and Communication
Communicates testing issues and results to ADL/SDL, Project Manager, and/or Sponsor
Recommends steps to resolve issues based on research and investigation.
Facilitates team meetings, asneeded.
Coordinates training needs based on system enhancements or implementations.
Activities are primarily selfdirected based on established goals and objectives
Proactively requests supervisory assistance to prioritize tasks and activities.
