Description
Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, a related discipline or equivalent work experience. Masters degree or related industry certifications related to position are preferred.
Minimum of three years of combined (or equivalent) Data Governance and/or Data Management related experience across multiple business disciplines as a Business Analyst, Reporting Analyst, Database Developer, or Application Designer/Developer.
Minimum of three years of relational database development and/or analysis experience.
Prior experience within insurance, mortgage, finance, or related industry is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite tools for productivity, analytics and presentations.
Ability to effectively collaborate across broad parts of the organization.
Must be a selfstarter and comfortable working with relatively little initial guidance.
Demonstrated experience producing presentations, status reports and other communications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as ability to translate complex Data Management or technical concepts with all levels of an organization.
Working knowledge of Master and Reference Data Management concepts including, but not limited to, duplicating handling, data quality, and data cleansing, including an understanding of the fundamentals of data bases and data structures (tables, hierarchical structures, flat files, etc.).
Working knowledge of how data supports business processes, especially around the core business processes of the organization.
Working knowledge of industry and regulatory data related policies, laws, and regulations.
Experience in documenting and implementing policies around data quality and data privacy and security.
Ability to successfully lead and collaborate with others through complex problem solving and collaborating with various functional and business teams, as well as technology teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite tools for productivity, analytics and presentations.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and responsibilities in a dynamic environment, while maintaining attention to detail.
Maintain confidentiality of information and use information appropriately.
