Applications Architect

Description

This position will focus on the Middleware & Enterprise Architecture. Lead the overall architecture of Verti organization
Architect, design and code to solve business problems of Verti
Work and lead teams in a fast paced environment
Collaborate with MAPFRE USA IT Architecture team for technology alignment
Guide / Challenge the team on technical areas & implementation methods
Define / Create standards & guidelines for the enterprise
Work with the Onshore/Offshore application development teams
Work with multiple other internal teams MUSA IT, Info Security, Infrastructure, QA, Architecture
Work directly with IT head of Verti for IT roadmap and solutions
Present to Clevel and work directly with business addressing real life business problems
Effectively work with management and other remote development staff to accomplish Middleware Integration project deliverables
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering or above
More than 10 years of experience in application development in JEE space
More than 8 years of experience as an Application Architect/technical lead
At least 3 to 5 years of strong experience in middleware technologies, web services
At least 5 years of experience in systems architecture and ability to design scalable performancedriven solutions
Strong experience of environment management, release management, code versioning, best practices, Infrastructure management, Firewalls, Gateway and deployment methodologies
Deep understanding of REST and SOAP API's
Expert in technologies and ecosystem supporting integrations platform (ESB), with good understanding of tools (Web Methods, Mulesoft, Middleware connector tools like Salesforce Adaptor, SAP Adaptor etc.), applications and frameworks.

Identify, assess and solve complex business problems in the digital space, where analysis of situations or data requires an indepth evaluation of variable factors. Understand feasibility of solution in terms of achieving business goals, considering budget and timeline.
