Job Requirements
Education Bachelor's Degree or professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, or equivalent, related experience.
Experience 4 6 years or Associates Degree equivalent plus 6 8 years.
Knowledge Advanced knowledge of practices within field. Integrates and evaluates new advancements in industry, concepts, techniques and standards to contribute to successful business results. Considered an expert in the field within the organization.
Decision Making Makes complex decisions interpreting company policy, for which there is no set procedure. Decisions influence success for projects of significant impact importance, client relationships, expenses and or ability to meet organizational objectives.
Supervision Received Work is performed without appreciable direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.
Leadership Provides guidance and training to less experienced staff as needed. Takes a lead role in group, team or project.
Problem Solving /Operations/Direct Work Involvement Develops solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of innovation. Ensures that solutions are effective in meeting organizational objectives. Questions problem definition to address underlying issues.
Client Contacts Manages internal and external relationships. Represents organization as prime contact for projects and other necessary communications. Interaction may include senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring complex coordination between organizations. Communication involves persuasion and negotiation, as applicable. Seeks ways of improving client service.
Basic Qualifications Degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related quantitative analytical field.
Strong ability to analyze user requirements and build frontend BI applications according to specifications. Understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problemsolving skills.
Ability to coordinate concurrent projects.
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a highpressure environment.
Programming skills in SQL, SAS, VBA, EXCEL, ACCESS.
Proficient in merge/purge, query, and reporting in SAS, DBMS (e.g. Oracle, DB2, ACCESS), and other systems.
Proficient quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
Preferred Qualifications Experience in insurance, banking, credit card or other financial industries, or comparable consulting experience.
Experience working within multiple platforms on various databases, i.e. VCGI04, AS400, Diamond, TronWeb.
Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills required.
