Please note this is a z/OS Systems Programmer, not an Application Developer
Responsible for supporting z/OS mainframe operating systems software environment across multiple LPAR's. Installing, maintaining, upgrading all system software including thirdparty software. This position will also provide oncall duties handling day to day support issues, system monitoring, operations support and client interaction. Diagnostic analysis and debugging, client requests, and disaster recovery testing events.
Requirements Minimum 6 years of experience.
Experience with Parallel Sysplex, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of common IBM and thirdparty mainframe system software products.
Ability to analyze and debug operating system and program product related issues.
24x7 oncall support of mainframe operating system and system software products.
Experience with mainframe monitoring tools and system tuning.
Primary Skill(s) Install, configure, and maintain z/OS and mainframe systems software products
