The client is seeking an experienced SAP SCM Functional Consultant to join their support team in East Chicago, IN. The SAP SCM/PP Functional Consultant will be responsible for working with the business, and other SAP functional & ABAP analysts in the development of new solutions, and where necessary support existing systems in client's S/4 and SCM environment. Ideal candidate will be able to quickly assimilate to the business environment, have demonstrated recent hands on experience and has led and taken direction from other SAP experts in both a support and project environment.
Successful candidate will be responsible for base support but may be pulled into project work as needed. Mostly responsible for support, enhancements and helping business operations.
Ideally seeking GATP experience with Demand Planning and some PPDS experience in that order. For this role, depth of experience in S4 HANA isn't as important as compared to other experience and responsibilities.
This assignment will be active at least thru year end 2018 and Q1 2019 with high likelihood for an extension beyond once 2019 budgets are finalized.
