Job Description An Architect Senior .Net Developer is a skilled and experienced software developer responsible for the detailed design, implementation, and testing of subsystems and system components. An Architect Senior .Net Developer can build a wide variety of software subsystems and components efficiently and effectively, given only a requirements specification and constraints. An Architect Senior .Net Developer is able to develop and sustain these subsystems and software components in complex, multivendor, multiplatform environments. This position leads assigned projects and initiatives as an Architect Senior .Net Developer in the Software Development and/or Solutions Architecture space to efficiently and effectively architect, deliver, maintain, & enhance solutions based on requirements for assigned business line areas. Working closely with the assigned Development Lead and/or Manager, draft, design and deliver all SDLC collaterals (development plans, prioritization, testing plans, deployment approaches, etc). Technology responsibilities include, but not limited to, SAI software platforms and projects, solutions architecture partnership, KPI management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develops software solutions by studying information needs and requirements; conferring with users and other SMEs; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.
Write clean, simplistic code that effectively solves problems, but maintains as much extensibility as possible. Be willing to help others and be willing to ask questions when you dont know something.
Must have an inherent curiosity and desire to learn new technologies and concepts. Recommend, design, and deliver upon data interchange formats, APIs, messaging strategies, application server software, as well as hardware and virtual machine requirements.
Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
Documents knowledge and makes it available to assigned project resources to ensure business continuity;
Write and execute tests for subsystems and components.
Participate in integrated test sessions of components and subsystems on test and production servers
Determine and communicate the implications of systemlevel decisions on subsystems and components. Help determine how best to mitigate or take advantage of these implications.
Determine and communicate the requirements and capabilities of components within the context of the larger system, project, and team.
Support management of the teams technical infrastructure (e.g., repository, build system, testing system) under guidance from the systems engineer or another project leader.
Participate in efforts to share technology and expertise within the company; mentor junior and aspiring engineers.
Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
Improves operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures.
Updates job knowledge by studying stateoftheart development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment;
Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
Accomplishes engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Supports and develops software engineers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities.
Perform tasks efficiently and work together with team to ensure project success.
Perform other duties as assigned.
