Data Analyst, Testing & Optimization

Key Responsibilities include Measure statistical significance of tests using inferential statistical methods
Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets
Test and measure statistical significance of the Split tests and communicate the results and findings to stakeholders
Perform complex data analysis to measure test impact and incremental on business KPIs
Perform pretest and posttest analytics, measure incremental impact, and assist in tests prioritization
Coordinate with different functional teams to develop, implement models and monitor / analyze model performance and outcomes
Perform ad hoc analysis as required by cross functional teams
Apply advanced algorithms and predictive analytics methods to validate test results
Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques
Qualifications Bachelors degree or equivalent experience with emphasis in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Science, Engineering or related field preferred
5+ years experience in related field including the below
Handson experience with various relational data bases and have exposure to cloud environments
Experience solving analytical problems using quantitative and datadriven approaches
Experience working across a highly matrixed organization, and a strong ability to partner and influence for results
Optimization, multivariate testing and design of experiments (DOE)
Strong experience in writing SQL against complete data warehouse systems to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
Teradata experience a plus
Marketing experience a plus, i.e. campaign efficiency, customer journey, loyalty, coupon effectiveness, etc.
Skills and Ability Strong mathematical or statistical background.
Demonstrated knowledge of multivariate statistical and modeling techniques
Ability to communicate data, context, and implications
Must be detail oriented with strong problemsolving skills
Ability to develop strong cross functional partnerships
Excellent time management and organization skills
Understanding of site testing tools
