Description

Project Details This person would be responsible for assisting the 2 other Tableau developers on the team and handling backlog. They will also help to build dashboards and manifest pipeline in reports.
MustHave Skills 5+ years of tableau experience
NiceToHave Skills database experience would be extremely helpful
backend/integration experience
Summary
Work with the development team to create high quality Tableau dashboards using relational and Cube data sources
Participate in enhancing and optimizing existing Tableau dashboards
Help develop best practices and documentation for dashboard creation, server maintenance, managing permissions, etc.
Required Skill Set
3+ years direct Tableau experience
Advanced Tableau skills data joining, data blending, action filters, cube data sources, relational data sources, etc.
Relentless focus on accuracy
Strong UI design background
Strong communication skills
Ability to gather dashboard requirements and apply business knowledge/common sense to deliver meaningful dashboards and visualizations to end users
Experience creating and managing Tableau data sources and underlying meta data tables
Strong understanding of Tableau security implementation and best practices authentication, data security, row level security, etc.
Additional Preferred Skills
Proficiency with SQL
An ideal candidate will have experience modelling/architecting large disparate data sources in SQL, Analysis Services, or Tableau to create meaningful dashboards
