ISAM Migration Expert needed for a contract position with our client in the Health Insurance field!
The ISAM Migration Expert is responsible for the engineering of various aspects of both physical and virtual migrations of the current ISAM/TDS infrastructure to a new data center. You will lead the analysis of current and future requirements to effectively design the new data center infrastructure for our virtual ISAM appliances while determining design feasibility from both technical and economic perspectives. The ISAM Migration Expert develops and maintains technical standards, procedures and documentation in partnership with services partners as needed. Compiles and analyzes operational data and directs tests to establish standard for new designs or modifications to existing equipment, systems, or processes. You will partner and consult with varied technical and management staff to identify and plan migration of the ISAM appliances to a new data center, physical data center requirements and impacts and resolve design problems. Bachelors degree and 5 years of systems engineering experience is required. In lieu of degree, 7 years of systems engineering experience. Direct experience in migration from physical ISAM appliances to virtual appliances. Experience automating tasks associated with technical specialties. Experience successfully leading data center projects and initiatives.
5+ years of experience with IBM ISAM and Tivoli Directory Server products Hands on experience of migrating from physical IBM ISAM appliances to virtual IBM ISAM appliances InDepth experience with installation, configuration, integration, troubleshooting, and supporting IBM Identity Access management Suite such as ISAM (IBM Security Access Manager)/TFIM(Federation manager),TDS(Tivoli Directory Server). Experience in installing/configuring/Administering the Web seal Junctions, creating ACL/POP Policies & Knowledge with different types of Junctions, policies and ACLs in ISAM. Understanding of ISAM (IBM Security Access Manager) components such as policy server, authorization server, web seal security Utilities. Experience in Configuring ISAM Services, Provisioning polices, Password Policies, Identity Policies, Entitlements, Adapters, and Self Service. Understanding of role based access, least privilege and segregation of duties access control concepts and Firm understanding of authentication and authorization technologies and protocols including SAML, OATH, OAuth, federation, certificates, kerberos and multifactor authentication Experience with ISAM build/migration to AWS Cloud platforms, but not mandatory.
Configuring and integrating applications with SingleSignOn (SSO) and SAML with TFIM/ADFS, ISAM/TAM. Experience in using pdadmin tool. Experience in integrating ISAM with DP/WAS/TFIM. Experience in Installing, configuring and Administering IBM TDS(Tivoli Directory Server)/IDS in an HA configuration. Comfortable importing and exporting LDAP data using standard tools including bulkload, db2ldif, etc. Previous TDS/IDS upgrade experience is highly desired. Troubleshooting LDAP issues and well versed with LDAP searches. Triaging and resolving issues with WebSphere and associated technologies. Open minded, able to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members. Able to work independently and respond to multiple and conflicting requests under tight deadlines and in a dynamic working environment. Hiring Preferences Experience in multiple technical specialties preferred. Experience in one or more of the following technologies (aligning with relevant technical specialties) Software defined networking; Software defined storage; Compute virtualization; Private/public cloud; Software defined WAN; Network function virtualization; Linux containers; Platformasaservice; Experience engineering technologies to be delivered as a service and an understanding of concepts of multitenancy. Strong leadership skills with exceptional technical aptitude in varied areas. Must be able to work independently and be selfsufficient in defining and realizing infrastructure designs. Team and customer service oriented, flexible and adaptable with proven ability to solve problems in a collaborative and timely manner. Solid background in data collection, analysis, and reporting. Proven debugging skills Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with strong organization and planning skillset. Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle Methodologies and process flows.
Ability to correlate technical actions to business impact Flexible and adaptable with focus on effectively managing change. Relevant technical certification preferred
